Common FAQ
๐ฐ ๐ ๐๐โ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐ถ๐ถ ๐๐๐!
โก๏ธ The hair bonds are relaxed during lamination, so after the 48hr setting period post treatment, you are then able to style them exactly how you like! Big, flat, thin!

โก๏ธ The final step in lamination is always a nourishing oil/ cream. This is what gives the shiny look, helping condition the hair after chemical exposure. This will only last a few hours until soaked into the hairs. After the first wash, your brows will fluff up.
Should you want the wet look everyday, Iโd suggest using a brow gel.
๐พ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐?
โก๏ธ They donโt have to be! This is your preference. If you opt for a tint, we will always discuss color. Your brows will always look darker when first done, and the nourishing oil also intensify this. Do not panic - the color will settle down after a few days/ washes.
Be aware though, brow lamination is not suitable for everyone, same with any treatment.

THE HEALING STAGES & AFTERCARE
STAGE 1 - IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE APPOINTMENT:
You may feel tenderness and there may be slight redness around the brows.
The brows will appear dark and bold immediately after the procedure. The brows may also look bigger than they are as well. Please do not panic.
Treat the brows as an open wound, keep the area dry and clean.
STAGE 2 - SCAB FORMATION (THE FIRST FEW DAYS):
The first couple of days, the scabs will begin to form and the brows will look darker and appear as if thereโs a layer on top of the brows.
Lymph fluid may appear on the brows, you can gently pat it dry with a clean tissue and sterile water..
Once the scab has formed, it will appear dark and thick.
Begin applying A&D ointment (the ointment given), on the 3rd day. Apply a thin layer (rice grain amount), twice a day. You can use a clean q-tip to gently apply ointment ONLY if your artist advises you to.
No water contact on the brows and no sweating for 7 days.
STAGE 3 - SCABBING (5-14 DAYS):
Brows will begin to crack and peel off.
Please do not pick, pull or rub the scabs off. It will come off naturally.
You may experience itchiness but please avoid itching the brows and disturbing it.
After the first 7 days, you may get the brows wet, however, please do not rub the brows.
STAGE 4 - GHOSTING PERIOD:
Once the scabs have fallen off, you will experience a ghosting period where the brows will appear extra light and patchy immediately after scabbing. The final healed results will appear after 4 weeks.
STAGE 5 - HEALED RESULTS:
After 4 weeks, the brows and the skin has healed. This is where you can see the final results.
If 1 session has only been completed, you can expect the brows to appear light and patchy.
A touch up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment to complete the brows.
AFTERCARE & MAINTENANCE TIPS
No makeup or skin care on the brows or too close to the brows until they have healed.
No workouts and sweating the first 7 days. Sweat will remove the pigment.
If the brows accidentally get wet during the first 7 days, gently pat the brows dry with a clean tissue.
Please avoid direct sunlight on the brows for 2 weeks.
No tanning treatments, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorine, or recreational bodies of water for the first 2 weeks.
Avoid skincare with AHA, glycolic acid, lactic acid, retinol or other active skincare ingredients on or around the brows. This includes physical exfoliants, chemical exfoliants, and anti-aging skin care.
A good tip is, if you canโt wipe and clean off the makeup or skincare without touching the brows, it is too close.
LONG TERM CARE & TIPS
The sun can fade the brows much faster and dull out the color. We recommend investing in a good sunscreen and applying it on the brows (once theyโre healed).
Skin care with oils and active ingredients can fade the brows faster.
Brows are low-maintenance, not no maintenance.
Once the brows heal, continue to groom the brow hairs as normal. This will help maintain the shape and definition.
A little bit of makeup on top of the brows and a bit of concealer under the brows, will always make the brows look better. Avoid getting foundation on the brows, when youโre applying makeup. This can make the brows look ashy.
